“Collaborative learning is based on the idea that learning is a naturally social act in which the participants talk among themselves (Gerlach, 1994). It is through the talk that learning occurs.” Collaborative learning helps in Positive Growth in Students Achievement, Improved Relations among Different Ethnic Groups, Mainstreaming students with Learning Disabilities.
OIS has been interacting with class rooms around the world through e-pals and Global Gateway and British Council. The school children actively participate in class rooms from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe and choose their projects – Nat Geo project or Member projects.
They find class rooms for lively interaction and enjoy communicating with those children to learn their culture, their ways of life. A number of Schools in U.K., USA, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong and Africa are in link with our school.
